I’m not sure which B-17 I saw in the color photo. It was OD for sure. I was invited to sit in on a zoom meeting where the folks who had possession of the collection(s) showed a few select photos to those of us in the meeting. I’m hoping something happens soon. People need to see all the documentation that is discovered about events like this, especially guys like you and Dana.
I’ll see what I can do to push things along.
I totally understand that they may want to keep some material back for publishing, but the flip side is that we're already quite late for it being added to the knowledge base, and be looked at by the people who were there to share memories, and now even the historians are dying. Too bad David Aiken isn't with us anymore... sigh.
