You might find some over on the Flypast forum. There are at least half a dozen videos on YouTube as well.

I wasn't there, but I have heard nothing but very positive reviews from both days of the show - fantastic aircraft, displays, and weather. By what was reported, all of the participants that were scheduled to attend did so (including 15 Spitfires, 4 Mustangs (two sporting brand new paint schemes), all 4 of the UK's flying Buchons, 4 Hurricanes, 3 Corsairs, 2 Sea Furies, the Red Bull P-38 (only one flying outside the US), and much more). 7 of the participating warbirds only just returned to flight within the past year/since the last Flying Legends. There are tons of stunning photographs from the show on Flickr already (always fun to peruse/follow).

One act which has constantly come up in my Facebook feed as a highlight was the four Buchons performing a Battle Of Britain movie reenactment set to the score of the movie. I'd love to see video of that!

Still in Cambridge, leaving Wednesday, show was great, weekend gold pass, why not? Red Bull’s dc 6 put on a show for a larger plane. Buchons were my first time plus 4 of them Finally saw a Bearcat fly plus a lot more. The museum buildings are worth the visit, took 2 days. Met great people fro Canada, Australia, South Africa and of course Great Britain. Stayed at rail station where there was a free shuttle to airshow, really didn’t want to drive at all. If you think you want to go to any airshow anywhere just do it and stop wishing the show will come to you. July

It was indeed a great show as usual.

Very hot (went on Sunday) but who can complain!

The Buchon/BoB film sequence was really enjoyable, with the four 'film' Buchons running in towards the crowds approximately over the location the airfield attack sequence was filmed 50 years ago (although they didn't fly as low as Commander Santa-Cruz and his colleagues did in the film!) before breaking into two ship, hotly pursued by 3 Spitfires which also appeared in the film, flyers AR213 & MH434, and EP120, which was used as a static. in the film.

It was great to see the TFC's recently re-engined (R-2800) Sea Fury in the air again, performing a superb display with the Air Leasing operated example, the former at times sounding like a Reno racer!

The Heritage flight had the added bonus of a Spitfire (JG891), and I must say, I really do love the new scheme on the former 'February'!

Didn't get to see 'Contrary Mary' (ex 'Miss Velma') in the Mustang sequence, as it had an issue with it's right brake (it appeared to be stuck on). Although the Air Leasing team appeared to sort it out in time for the Balbo, unfortunately the problem cropped up again at the end of it's landing run, when it 'pirouetted', kicking up a lot of dust and dry grass in the process, and making things look more dramatic than actually was!

All in all another great show, and I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures and videos forthcoming via the usual channels.

Cheers

Paul

A few more from the pre-show early morning walk.

Unusual for the UK, you can see we have been without rain for 6-8 weeks.

For the awkwardness of the pole you were wielding, those pictures turned out rather nicely. I'm just disappointed that I'm not in any of them....which, in retrospect, was probably the idea all along. LOL
