Down Under Aviation News latest book review is now online.

The Douglas A-20 Havoc: The Ultimate Look – From Drawing Board to Peerless Allied Light Bomber by William Wolf, is a large book but excellent research provides the reader with insights to the design, development and combat use of the Douglas A-20 Havoc/Boston which became a popular WW2 light bomber.

Why?
Accuracy? Cost?
I have several and have enjoyed them, though my latest, (Century Series)was very expensive with no color photos and I have some quibbles with content.

Actually, everything you mentioned. I have some of their earlier books that I consider quite good. But, it seems that over the years they have gone down hill, especially the ones written by Mr. Wolf, one of which I returned to Amazon. My opinion, of course.

I may have to grab one anyhow, in honor of my late Father-in-law Big Pete (on right), an A-20 gunner based out of Gosfield, UK.
