From North of the border.

Stuck on the ground since I sold the O2-A. Still have a classy ride in the M3-A1 White Scout car for the annual parade

Here is my (1944 Willys MB) Jeep, deep inside a large group of (mostly postwar) military vehicles owned by people associated with my living history group, before the parade in Centralia, WA. One of the people from that truck in the left background came over and wanted to talk about peace. I asked, "Peace, huh? How's that working out so far?" People around just snickered and the guy walked away, not previously understanding his target audience, I guess...
It was crazy hot, the engine temp gauge was reading 140 when it'd been sitting parked for over 2 hours..

I was the only Military Vehicle In the parade. Was kind of sad.
Was not too hot for that 74 year old radiator

My radiator was okay, it never got above 190, but I was using thinner oil this time and my engine is original to my Jeep and has never been rebuild, so the tolerances aren't nearly as tight as a new rebuild. So, all that and the very hot temps led to some pretty low oil pressures at the end of the parade and on the (12 mile) driver home...
