Per accident-report.com, 42-105120 does match up with an accident in Alaska on July 25, 1945 in Alaska, which the article dates as the loss of the pilot, Ernest Hickox. Nice to see it will be going back to its original markings.

The article doesn't specify, but is this a static restoration?
