My father, James Brame, passed away at 9:52 AM CDT today surrounded by his family. It was unexpected, but quick and relatively painless. He was an Air Force veteran from 1947-49 and served in the occupation of Japan as a weather observer.

Blue skies, Dad, and thank you for your service and for all you did for our family.
Hope you all don't mind me reposting some of his photos from overseas:

Dear Chris, I'm very sorry to hear the news about your father's passing. He will forever be a beloved father, a honored gentleman and a true hero. Those we love can never be more than a thought away; for as long as there's a memory, they live on in our hearts. Wishing you strength for today and hope for tomorrow.
