On December 29, 2013 Captain Bill Overstreet a 357th FG pilot passed away in Roanoke, Virginia at the age of 92 years old. Bill Overstreet flew the P-51 Mustang which he named "Berlin Express", and was credited with flying over 100 missions during the war and shooting down 2 enemy fighters. He is famous for chasing a German fighter under the Eiffel Tower and shooting it down.
