Wow.

Normally I avoid ranting on the news media as is the common sport here, and wherever closeted buffs gather. I feel reporters get a bum rap for doing a very tough job, trying to report on many technical subjects without having the time to learn any, and that if the media-complainers on this forum were to switch places with the journalists they complain about, the journalists would do a better job of flying and fixing airplanes than the wixers would do of journalism.

HOWEVER -- in this particular case, if one were to try to write a parody of a media article trying to see how many facts you could get wrong in a short amount of space, it would be hard to beat this one.
