Greetings from Arizona!

greetings everyone,
just want to say I'm happy to be here and want everyone to know I'm not a spamming account.
I live in Arizona, and I'm helping the Kingman WWII museum and hopefully going to start helping at the Planes of Fame, Valle museum too.
I'm an experimental archaeologist by profession. I've had a couple hours flight-time in real aircraft, but mainly I'm an armchair pilot on flightsims. Right now, my computer isn't good enough so I mainly fly the arcade style games on XBox360 and Birds of Steel, which seems to be the closest thing to a flightsim we're going to get for a console.
My interests in warbirds is primarily focused on WWII, particularly the Pacific Theater conflict, with an emphasis on the US Navy and Marine Corps. Right now I've been doing extensive research into the Cactus Air Force and the battles of Guadalcanal.
my favorite planes are:
F4F3 Wildcat
F4U-1 Corsair
F6F Hellcat
A6M5 Zero
TBM-3E Avenger
SBD-5 Dauntless
P38J Lightning
P40N Warhawk
I also have the honor and priveledge of having been in the cockpit of each of these fine aircraft, and I feel so luck to have actually flown in the Avenger!
anyway, I'm a big WWII Warbird fan since I was really little and now that I'm back home with a more regular schedule, I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences, learning from others, and if you have an XBox360, maybe I'll have the priveldge to fly on your wing as well!
