Not much to say about myself. I've loved aircraft since was was a little kid. Never had the chance to learn to fly, dagnabbit! Now, I think that I'd be afraid to try it even if I could pass the medical. Which I doubt.
But I am a photgrapher and a photo collector, so I have some 100,000 pics on my computer from a wide variety of sources. Most of them are post 1937, though.
Also, I am a bit of a history buf, but I am not a tech
. No, I can't tell you what sort of fasteners the wing gun bays on a P-51 used. The technical details I leave to those more knoweledgable than I.
Which is probably just about everyone here.
Ah well! Such is life.
But I have to admit that I'm glad that I found this place. Looks like a fun place to be. Interesting, too!
