I just wanted to say hi to all. My Grandfather was a Co-Pilot of a B-17 in the 8th Army Air Corps as part of the 388 bomb group and the 45 combat wing, in Knettishall. I will have to ask him if remembers the planes name. There’s a site that list all the planes and missions. For his 90th birthday I’m putting together a shadow box with his jacket and other mementos. If anyone could point me to the right forum for this project and any other info would be great. He has saved almost everything from his service in the war.
