Hello guys, my names Chris, and I'm from Tampa, Flordia. I'm also probly the youngest member here, at 2 days after my 15th birthday. Also, I was a Quarter Midget racecar driver, but I outgrew those cars and now race go-karts until I can get a SCCA Lisence and race a BMW.

What got me hooked on warbirds (Aside from Sun'n'Fun in Lakeland and a ride in the B-17 Liberty Belle, is a WW2 combat simulator called IL-2 Sturmovik. Since I'm too young to actually fly a P-51, I figures the next best thing is a simulator. Since I plan on becoming a airline pilot, it has helped me learn VFR, IFR, takeoff's, landing's, emergency landing's ( :D ), engine management in all sorts of warbirds, and a handful of other stuff. Another good thing about the simulator is that I can play online, and I have gotten the chance to speak to one of Libery Belle's back up pilots, a Spitfire pilot, and a mustang pilot ( I can't remember the names off the top of my head).

Anyways, enough about me. Hope to talk to you soon!
