Long time lurker, first time poster here...
I'm not too sure how I found you guys, but I did and am glad for it!!!
I have had an interest in history for as long as I can remember. I think it goes with growing up in a family that always had more then our fair share of Studebakers in the driveway, and in the garage, and in the backyard, and so on. I now own five Studes, one '58 Packard, and many many parts of both makes.
Being in the US NAVY for 20 years I got to attend alot of airshows. The vintage stuff ALWAYS got me more excited then the new stuff. And during my first six years- I got to wrench on some old stuff in the way of SH-3H SeaKings, and A-6E Intruders!!! My first Cruise was USS Coral Sea's last. My later years were spent wrenching on just about all the NAVY variations of H-60s. I am now retired from the NAVY, and looking for something new to do.
A lame intro, I know, but that'll give you some idea of who I am.
