Just wanted to check in. I am the owner and pilot of Piper L 4 J 45-55209. Bought her back in August and have logged about 40 hours on her so far. I have already shot down one turkey buzzard with minimal wing damage. My dad was a pilot in WW 2 starting out in PT 19's then on to BT-13's and finishing up in AT-17's then on to C -46's and stations in China. After the war he flew AT-6's for awhile in the reserves then got back into flying in the mid 70's to teach me. I soloed at 16 and have been flying since.

Dad passed away in 2002 and was a member of the Hump Pilots Association and he transferred his love of war birds to me.
