Good afternoon,

Steven here.

My father was an A/C with the 330th BG out of Guam from March through August 1945.
He never spoke of the war and we really (his family) did not know much of what he did until after he passed away in 1990. While going through the garage we came across his footlocker. Inside were all of his uniforms, medals, awards, orders, flight logs, photos, flimsies.., etc. What did it all mean.., no idea.., no internet!!!! YET!

It was not until my mother passed away in 2001 that I was finally able to get it all together and sort it out. I began, at the time, what was just a crude one page tribute to my dad. It has sense grown into a 330th BG website with over 250,000 hits since 2002.

It has been an amazing ride as I am now the catalyst in linking together old comrades and enemies (several Japanese men have inquired to speak to pilots of aircraft that firebombed their towns) plus dozens upon dozens of family memebers and their father's crewmen. What an absolute honor this has been to be able to provide such a site to represent these wonderful men and this wonderful aircraft, the B-29.

I donate as much time as I can to continue to research and inquire about any old orders, photos., etc... to try and piece together the memories of the 330th in order for our kids and grandkids to know what these amazing men did with their youth.

This is a great site and has become a resource for me as well as solving several aircraft mysteries of the 330th.

I am in good company!

Cheers,
