Could that firearm damage to the oil cooler area have happened in USN service before it went south?
Just a thought.
Looks like we might have a neat cockpit display at Wings & Wheels in a couple of weeks!
Jerry

Thats what Corvino and the rest of the Corsquito team are trying to pull off! Hopefully we'll be able to detail it out later on. Maybe even become a permanent flight simulator when we put the original equipment back on the real fighter! Either way the CASC is pulling out all the stops this year with having five of our aircraft on display at the show. Four of those in restoration right now. The fifth being the H-23 thats just been in restoration.

yes, i was scheduled to be down there to help out, but the birth of my 2nd son slowed me down! He was born June 14th and mom and baby are doing fine. Dad on the other hand is teaching his new son the word, " corsair." He came a little early so it threw my hugh surprise behind schedule. As it stands right now, everything should be ready to go for this sat. I will keep you all posted :D

The front bird is 92600. I have a much clearer photo from the Navy. Yes we did have orange as she did serve in NAS Columbus. There is no way to see the Bure no.'s

Would be nice and JOKINGLY talked about but never seriously given any thought due to the ownership of the aircraft (being the city of Bridgeport.)
