Hello all,
I am just starting up the static restoration of an AT-6B at the Chanute Air Museum in Rantoul, Illinois, USA. I am in great need of any photos of AT-6Bs that show original or authentic views of the cockpit, exterior or any other part of the aircraft. I hope to restore our Texan's appearance to what a B Model would have looked like around 1942-1944 assigned to pilot training at Luke AAF.

Anything will help, whether it is an authentic restoration, before pictures of a B that has updated, personal pictures of B models or even pictures of individual parts known to have been on the B models.

Check us out at our temporary web site here>>>> http://p51h.home.comcast.net/~p51h/at6b/index.htm

Feel free to contact me via PM or via the CONTACT page at the above site. Any and all help is appreciated.

I want to add another request to the one above. For my AT-6 Project website, I want to build a gallery of pictures of actively flying Texans, SNJs and Harvards of all models.

So, I want to invite owners of Texans, SNJs and Harvards and early variants to send me their favorite photo of their warbird, along with basic details so I can post them on the site for all to admire. Same goes for organizations, clubs and museums.
I would like to eventually have 100+ pictures in our gallery covering every model. More would be even better!
Please include Aircraft Model, Original Serial Number, Owner's Name or Nickname, Photographer's Name, Date of Photo and Aircraft Name. Include any details you would like to see in a caption.

To send your photo, email them to at6b@comcast.net Subject "My T-6" Please try to keep your image smaller than 1 MB.
