Here's a better look at my avatar photo of my uncle's plane, B-24J/F-7B 44-40967: Has anyone ever seen a color shot of this plane? The other side with the crew is on the F-7A thread. |

For all warbird modellers here, check this out: http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/decal ... 8032.shtml So, after Queen Mae, Liquidator, Mabels Labels, Cocktail Hour, Million $ Baby etc, we finally got the fabulous Ain't so Funny in both 48 and 72 scale. Thank you Zotz decals! Anyway, anyone have a color photo of 43rd BG Last Horizon? Or some clue where to look...? Yet another masterpiece! |

Those are cameras, Tom, denoting recon missions flown. Notice on the serial block that F-7B has been stencilled on after the serial number. Scott |

Go to this link for some nose art pics of the 308th BG. There are at least 8 photos of the original planes of the CAF nose art panels at Midland in there. There are 4 pages total. Click on the bottom right arrow for the next page. It might not show up (it didnt' for me). If you see a small red x, click on it anyway as the link still works. When you click on this link, on the left, click on "aircraft" to get to the first page. I found "Forever Amber", Surprise Attack, Lady Luck, Home Stretch, Hump Time, Squeeze, Tale of Misfortune, and Taylor Made. Pretty neat! http://www.usaaf-in-cbi.com/308th_web/index.htm |
