Heres some pics I took when the Sea Fury that resides at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum stopped in for some gas on its way back from Oshkosh last summer

My first visit with a Sea Fury was this past June-2009 at the Mid Tennessee Fly In in Lebanon, TN (just outside Nashville). Beautiful plane that sounded awesome. Love that radial sound!

I found a Sea Fuzzy Tshirt the other day when Stan Music owned her back in the early 90's...

I love the Sea Fury, but to be honest, I think it looks wrong with only 4 blads. It's like a dog with only 3 legs.

I'd still take it home with me, but I'd be slightly more hesitant to show it off to friends.

I know that the ol' brit motor in it is a hassle, but can't they figure out a way to still swing a 5 blade prop on them? I mean, the 4 blade makes it look like a replica, no matter how authentic the paint job is.

Peace,

David M

I've never been able to nail down an ID for this one. This shot was taken in the early 90s at Anoka, MN at the AmJet facility. Anyone know which Iraqi Fury it might be?

Maybe a minor point - but did Iraqi Furys have folding wings?

OUCH!!!! It looks to be knocking over the rolling platform steps and everything else!!! Oops, should have read the caption first, but after seeing it hitting the steps I seen nothing else.
