So do any of the old timers have photos of Darryl Greenamyer's Conquest I from the speed record run at Edwards AFB in 1969? I've only seen one color pic 'on-line', and I have a couple from a Popular Mechanics issue.

This is the white version with the American flag and registration number on the tail.

And I guess my bottom line question is, since there wasn't a race number on the tail, was there a race number on the top of the left wing? Or was that added at Reno too?

GOOGLE Images has several pictures of CONQUEST 1 on the ramp and flying in white paint AND one of it on the ramp in bare metal with a star and bar on top of the left wing
