I am searching for photos of any DH-4M2 Atlantic Aircraft (Fokker) in civilian hands. In particular, I am looking for photographic evidence of a DH-4M2 converted to carry mail.

The DH-4M2 was similar to the DH-4M1 (Boeing) in that the fuselage was constructed of tube steel, not wood. The wings, tail surfaces, engine, and many other parts were "stock" DH-4B.

Glenn Peck of Peck Aeroplane Restoration in St. Louis is working on the restoration of the Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum's DH-4M2 and expects to have it flayble during the summer of 2006. We know from our research that Robertson Aircraft owned DH-4Bs, and DH-4M1s. We also know that Charles Lindbergh flew DH-4M2s at or about the same time he was flying the mail for Robertson's CAM 2 route but we do not know if they were St. Louis Air Guard DH-4M2s or Robertson DH-4M2s. You can see the restoration on Glenn's site www.peckaeroplanerestoration.com
Any help would be much appreciated. [/url]

Hi,

I have a few pictures from my collection. Not sure if they will help or not. I will post them here and if you want I can email them to you.

Not sure what model this is.... just think it looks alot like your project.

Looks to be the front of the DH.

Look in the background of this shot. Looks like a DH without the fabric!

Drop me an email and I will forward these files to you.
