At last, my Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Vb is finished. This is an almost whiff, as the paint scheme is subject to controversy : where they all blue? Two tones of blue? Were the control in desert colours? I decided to go the full kit with her, so, here she is, BR301 from 249 Sqn., as flown off Malta by Montrealer Georges Beurling.

Ollie,

Cool...give me a few days (weeks?) and I will match your blue Malta Buzz Vb with a blue Malta Smith Vc in 1/72...

But mine won't be as nice...

:)

Cheers guys.

Jim, I'm sure yours will turn out as nice as mine, only pantographed to 1/72!

Will you be doing like me or will it be another variation of the Malta scheme?

As in AB910...
