Thanks for the post. I read with the translation that it was going to be restored. I am not sure, but I believe that this was the aircraft that was in the USA and returned back to the Japanese citizens some years back not very long ago.

The translation states,

"James Powell, I am sorry for my unskillful English. The first restore was paid for by the private donations and the Sasagawa Foundation. The Museum of the Kanoya Maritime Self-Defense Force owns her by now".

She should be put indoors. Maybe Mr. Harada would buy some more surrounding land and build a larger hangar?

This is the Emily that was returned to Japan in the late '70s. The photos on the Youtube video are from 10 years ago when it was being disassembled for transfer from it's original location to Kanoya Air Self Defense Force Base.

It's owned by JASDF & is not associated with Harada in any way.
