Not bad for the first try. What scale is that? It looks like 1/72.

Are those regular floor tiles? I am new to this modeling thing. How do you do the grass?

Thanks for the nice comments. everything is 1/48. they are two 1/48 tamyia p-51d kits and i just used aeromaster decal sheets for them. those aren't floor tiles but some printed sheets of aircraft tarmac i bought, i think they were put out by a company called verlinden or eduard. the grass is just railroad type 'woodland scenics' grass, that i put down, sprayed then added some scenics dirt to add to it.
i've done a good amount of models before, but the diorama thing is new. it's a lot of fun and adds a whole new element to the models.

In 1/48 that has got to be a nice size diarama. I know what you mean when you say it is a whole new element to the model. I have done a couple of diaramas, but I think I perfer just doing the model for display. :D
