The Tri-State Warbird Museum (tristatewarbirdmuseum.org), near Cincinnati, Ohio, is hosting their annual fundraiser on Friday June 6, 2014 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. We are trying to round up a few GI, British, and German Army re-enactors to participate in the museum's fundraiser. The event typically consists of an airshow, a catered dinner (very expensive per plate), and a keynote speaker. Any re-enactors who attend will be considered honored guests and will get a free pass to the event. The museum will provide lodging to anyone who is traveling from outside of the Cincinnati area.
Any reenactors attending should be at the museum at 5:30pm (or before). There is a staff breakroom that can be used for uniform changes. There will be a period of about 1 1/2 hours, when the museum will be flying some its aircraft for the event, when the reenactors should mingle and talk to the attendees about the US Army's and the German Army's involvement in D-Day and the battle for France, so guys who are knowledgeable about their subject are needed. Field uniforms, gear, and weapons should reflect the June-July 1944 period. Class A's for the GIs(of course) and walking out dress for the Germans are also encouraged.

Standard safety rules for any living history/battle reenactment event apply. There will be no weapons demos and no live ammo will be permitted.

The address for the museum is:
Tri-State Warbird Museum
4021 Borman Dr.
Batavia, Ohio 45103
http://www.tristatewarbirdmuseum.org

The museum's president, Paul Redlich, can be contacted by email at: tristatewarbirdmuseum@fuse.net

I can be contacted at barry@vomagmachine.com for any questions.
Thanks,
Barry

I'm sorry I missed this post. If you guys need re-enactors for next year's gala, as well, drop me a line. I know a few local people who do this.
