O.K all,
I was asked to post this and I hope I get it all. There is a TON of items that the CAF at Midland are going to do for US at the display so, I'm telling you all this is a PREMIER event and it will only GET BETTER!!! Here goes.

Units will be allowed to set up Thursday before the airshow.

Water and ice provided ALL WEEKEND.

FREE food and beer Friday night.

At the living history / reenactor encampment we will have a BBQ so bring your own steaks or burgers to cook. We are doing a "meet and greet" so we all can get closer together for more camaraderie in the hobby!

Lunch tickets for food vendors provided for Saturday and Sunday of the airshow.

Saturday night USO show (Bring your class A's) AND a night airshow!!

Display space in the airshow hanger for individuals just wanting to set up a smaller display and IT'S FREE!

Private porta latrines for just US in the camp!

Shower facilities at the armory or readiness center about a block away.

GP medium and small tents available for units or individuals who don't have tents or don't want to bring their own.

Wing Commandos living history unit will be the command organization for the camp so we go straight to them with any and all concerns.

Unit commanders are responsible to provide a safety officer for their unit for weapons inspection.

Living history and reenactors will have their own parking area.

ALL living history units and individuals WILL report to the living history coordinator when they arrive to get their packets.

The camp will be set up according to MILITARY regulations.

ANY unit wishing to set up a booth to sell items may at a reduced price.

AWARDS and PLAQUES will be awarded to individuals and units in different categories.

IT IS ENCOURAGED to interact with the public and provide talks and information to them. ALSO a stage will be provided nearby to allow for public information talks to be done by units wishing to.

A special area for vehicles will be provided in order to showcase vehicles. AND awards to be awarded.

ALL UNITS AND INDIVIDUALS WILL REGISTER WITH THE AIRSHOW.

Authenticity and public interaction is highly encouraged and units MUST provide a sign providing unit designation.

The airshow will be opened at the LH/Reen camp with a flag raising and ALL units will attend. 0900 AM

There will be a HEAVY media presence so it's a great time to show all how good we are and how we help preserve our history.

Unit recruiting is authorized so bring cards and fliers!

To set up a unit food booth or a booth to sell stuff contact Cy at wing commandos or he is on this board.

AND!!

ALL units attending MUST provide a brief unit bio (if portraying a real unit) and a mission statement and why you are doing the unit you do.

I think that's it! Any questions drop me a line. We need MAX participation and show the country what we can do for history! LET'S GO!!!

Scott
