The Collings Foundation is holding an open house on Fathers Day weekend at its Stow, MA headquarters. On display will be nine of the Collings Foundation aircraft ("Vin Fiz" replica, 1909 Bleriot XI, Fokker DR-I Triplane replica, UC-78, AT-6, PT-17, T-33, and Fiesler Fi-156 Storch) as well as a collection of over 60 automobiles ranging from the turn of the century (1900) to racecars of the modern age. Also in attendence will be a collection of European mini-cars and radio control aircraft of all types including some amazing scale warbirds... hopefully even a giant-scale model of the B-17 "Nine O Nine".

An admission donation will be asked for at the gate. Hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day. For directions, visit: http://www.collingsfoundation.org/directions.

I hope to see at least some of you there! We are ON THE WAY back to Maine from Rhode Island!!!

No landings at the Collings private landing area by aircraft other than CF aircraft. Best place besides that would be Stow-Minuteman Airfield and Marlboro Airport.

There will be tons of R/C flying going on anyhow...not good for aircraft operations.
