I'm not sure if I will be able to attend this year. I'm hoping I can make it Sunday but I may not be able too. Saturday is 100% out.

http://www.maam.org/maamwwii.html

Glacier Girls has the Airshow on its calendar but it doesn't say that it will be there and its not on the MAAM list of attending aircraft. So I'm not holding my breath but it would be cool to see. That would make missing Saturday all the more painful. :?

Looks like Jack R's P-51B just got added to the Line-up.

:D

I've set up plans to be there Sunday. I think my Dad may also be with me.

Wow, thats great! I can't wait to see the B model mustang. I'll be there with my reenactment group again, doing our pacific theater impression of the army 25th Infantry division. Just look for a load of bamboo and our 40 mm anti aircraft gun. Stop by and say hello!

Tim & Brian,

As it is less than 90 minutes from my house, I hope to attend all three days barring rain. My daughters may even come to see "Gunny" from Mail Call.

Brian,

Any chance I can take a few pot shots with the 40 mm?

Two years ago we talked with the pilot of the Val that was there, and as he came around with his passes, he would line up straight with our gun, and pop smoke every other pass!! It was pretty cool, except for the fact that we just sat in the gun, following it around. The guy who owns the 40mm is hoping to have it converted to a propane like firing system for the following year's air show. There was talk of us doing a retreat like formation across the front of the show in the grass, having the 40 mm pulled by a WC40 or something, and then having the Japanese jump us, and we have to 'spring' into action. Not this year, but maybe the following we'll see.

Jeff, I'll save you a few shots if it happens! :D
