Wendover Wings and Wheels 2014

Wed May 28, 2014 10:32 am

Just a quick start to this thread - the Wendover Wings and Wheels show will be held on September 6th 2014! Discount tickets are available online at : http://www.wendoverairbase.com/airshow

We have an awesome line up this year: John Bagley's/Bob Hoover's "Old Yeller" P-51, a local P-51D, F4U-5 from Montana, F8 Bearcat, B-25 "Maid in the Shade", Utah Military Vehicle Club, F-86K (display only), Dave Ericlson aerobatics, a three ship T-33 fly by, a 8 ship RV formation team, and the Arizona Ground Crew living hisotry group!

Now, one of our sponsors has made a AWESOME offer - Since the B-25 will be in Wendover all week (September 1-6) they want to have folks come out and experience the Wendover area and the B-25. SO, if you buy a ride in the nose section of the B-25 on anyday Monday through Thursday you will get, AT NO COST TO YOU, a free overnight stay in a jacuzzi suite and a dinner coupon at the Wendover Nugget State Line hotel and Casino! Send me a PM for details and a contact number to reserve a flight!

Hope to see a few WIXers out in our corner of the great salt desert! 8)

Thanks,

Tom P.

A BIG thank you to Jim, Tom's mom ( I am terrible with remembering names), Tom and all the volunteers who did so much at the show and allowing us (the Arizona ground crew) to set up our flightline maintenance fly and barracks display. We had a GREAT time.
