Hi Scott,
Someone recently posted a message about the "new post" markers disappearing. It happens to me about every second day. This morning it happened before I even got into any of the formers. I was at the forum index, but when I clicked on any of the forums where a new message was indicated, all of the markers in that forum had disappeared.
I can't say for sure this isn't a problem with my browser. I use IE6.
