Post subject:  Great new Forum

I have just registered after lurking on the other Forum for quite a while, the new software is much more user friendly and (if Scott doesnt mind) I will be able to post more photos like this

One small request, I am trying to install an Avatar however the 6KB limits is a bit err limiting, any chance of an increse to 12kb please.

First Shuttlworth Collection airshow of the season tomorrow, I hope to post photos from there very soon afterwards.

Can you give me the URL of one of these forums? Might want to ask the admin some questions.

Some of the other boards I'm on include boards at http://www.doolittleraider.com/forum/index.php, http://www.cardmodels.net, and http://ww2reenactors.proboards20.com/ where I help moderate the AAF Reenactors board subsection. That's why it's so embarrasing when I have to edit a post!

I have changed the limit to 12kb, thought I might have to change this in the future. The 80x80 dimensions are still in effect though as a larger picture will mess up the layout for some people

Hi Scott (and all)!

I´ve developed into a lurker on the WIX but I want You to know that I´m still around, keeping my ears close to the grapevine. I visit other warbird related forums too and it seems like news appearing on those are verified by a visit to the WIX.

In my humble opinion, You´ve made a good choice on forum engine and I´m only glad to move along, waving the swedish flag!

Scott,

Thanks for taking the time to upgrade the forum. I'm really starting to like this style. Keep up the great work and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Cheers,

Eric

Post subject:  New Format

How do I view "posts since last visit?"

Probably most of my frustration with this new format, is that I don't know how to run it...... But then I fly 60 year old airplanes too.......

Go figure.......

If you have Internet Explorer cut and paste http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB2/search.php?search_id=newposts into your browser (or just use that link). Then save it in your "favorites" section. I personally saved mine with the name WIXnew so that whenever I want to read it, I just hit Ctrl+L, type Wixnew, and there the page is!
